The African Development Bank (AfDB) has agreed to provide US$120 million in funding towards the Nairobi Outer Ring road project. The 13-kilometer project will see the current single carriageway road upgraded to a 2-lane dual carriageway complete with service roads, grade separated junctions, pedestrians foot-over bridges, walkways and cycle tracks over the whole length of the road.
