The Economist Kenya Summit 2014
Dr. Eric Schmidt, Executive Chairman, Google, is not the only business leader who has recognised the potential that Kenya presents. A number of major multinational organisations have identified Kenya as a centre for research, development and production in Africa. Amongst them are giants of innovation including IBM, Microsoft and Google.
The Kenya Summit is the strategic meeting between international investors, global business and Kenya's political leadership. It is a meeting to examine Kenya's direction for economic and social transition to a middle-income country.
At the heart of the summit lies the question; how will investment in breakthrough industries including ICT, natural resources, infrastructure, agriculture and financial services make Kenya the gateway of East Africa?
