Kenya Yearbook is finally out

NAIROBI, Kenya, Jun 28 - The government is developing quality and efficient communication systems that can enable the country to market itself more effectively, Information Permanent Secretary Dr Bitange Ndemo said on Tuesday.

He observed that the pace of a country's cultural, economic and intellectual development depends on its communications systems which then enable it to effectively disseminate its achievements and trends.

A book that details information about Kenya has been launched.
The Kenya Yearbook 2010 was launched Tuesday at the Nairobi Laico Regency.
It describes the country's geography, history, economy and politics, while also giving specific information about Kenya's people.
