James Waititu had never used a computer before joining Kenyatta University in 2003. When he finally did, he fell in love with the machines although he had been admitted for a degree course in biotechnology. By the time he was graduating in 2007, he was already an entrepreneur — not in biotechnology but working with computers. His business idea came to him when he was still living in the Kilimambogo hostels of Kenyatta University.
