New deal to hasten clearance of goods at Mombasa port

Exporters have a reason to smile after the Kenya Revenue Authority and the shipping fraternity signed a partnership agreement that will speed up the transshipment of their consignments through the Port of Mombasa. In the new initiative, containers meant for export will not be opened at the port once loading has been done upcountry under customs supervision and the containers sealed.
