David Rudisha signs off season in dominant style

World 800m champion David Rudisha retained his Diamond Race Trophy and prize on Friday night at King Baudouin Stadium, Brussels, in another dominant front-running display. Rudisha, the World record holder, chalked a lead from gun-to-tape finish of 1:43.96 but the 1:42.20 record set by his predecessor as world record holder, Wilson Kipketer, in 1997 proved elusive. The Kenya was joined on the podium by compatriot, Commonwealth 3,000m steeplechase champion, Milcah Chemos to collect their Diamond trophies accompanied by $ 40,000 (about Sh3.8 million) each. read on:  http://www.nation.co.ke/sports/athletics/Rudisha+signs+off+season+in+dominant+style++/-/1100/1238218/-/gi8972/-/
