Peter Keneth watched Vegas 7s live
I had a great opportunity to watch the Kenya Rugby 7s Team play in Las Vegas last week together with Kenyans living in the USA. Our team performance was impressive; we must be proud of them.
The beauty of the moments when our rugby players are thrashing opponents in the pitch or as a Kenyan sprints in the last few minutes of the steeplechase or marathon to win a Gold medal lies in the pride they elicit in us all. These moments give us a chance to celebrate our patriotism and we own them collectively. The challenge to us is whether we can be as patriotic and as Kenyan all the time. The answer we give to that question will determine the future of our country.
I believe that it is possible for all of us to work together to build a brighter Kenya. www.peterkenneth.com

Presidential aspirant Peter Kenneth will be joining Kenyans in Las Vegas on Saturday, February 11, to cheer our national rugby sevens team. A huge fan of rugby Peter Kenneth says that he is really looking forward to this event “I have always been a fan of not only rugby but other sports too. I'm a huge supporter of the Kenyan teams,” he told Word Is. This does not come as a surprise seeing that he is the former Kenya Football Federation chairman widely credited with huge successes for Harambee Stars in the 1990s. He has also previously participated in sports like football and motor-sport.
On a similar note PK as he is popularly known to his fans says that Kenyan youth have amazing sporting, music, theater and film talent. “They can do much better that they are doing now. The entertainment industry has the potential to employ many more young people and also earn the country a lot of foreign exchange,” he said in a press release send to Word Is. “In a brighter Kenya, I will deliberately pursue policies that will expand opportunities for our youth in the entertainment industry. We must facilitate the establishment and equipping of studios, CD plants and also training and rehearsing facilities. Furthermore, I will protect intellectual property so that our artists can benefit from their talents,” further read the release.
